I want these!

We all know the Japanese are years ahead of us in electronics, but they've got some pretty nifty bead products we don't see either. Case in point: the cabochon setting to the left.

Now, regular Swarovski sew-on settings are nice, but they're limited because the number of holes is limited. Look what Marque en Verre has done--eight holes! The setting itself is gorgeous, but the extra holes mean greater ability to create anything you want around the bead.

The finish is also a plus; I love the vintage look. Swarovski sew-on settings come in finishes other than gold and silver plate, but US venders don't carry them (or if they do they're wholesale only.) I have learned to antique brass myself, but once the settings are plated, they don't antique well. >.<

Back to browsing and drooling over things I can't have. . . .
